Daily Life At Jackman’s Lodge Care Home
Our aim is to provide a homely, welcoming environment in which our residents can truly relax and be themselves in. There’s no obligation of anybody to participate in any of our events or care home activities and we simply wish for each person living with us to treat Jackman’s Lodge as home. We’re here to help make the life they wish to live more accessible, not tell them how they should be living. Whether your loved one wants to be involved in residential care activities or simply spend some time in the grounds of our facilities.

Food & Dining
Along with our specialist care facilities, we pride ourselves on producing a wide variety of delicious, home-cooked meals suitable for everybody, no matter their dietary requirements. We believe that a fundamental part of living is eating well and our restaurant style dining room gives our residents the dining experience they deserve. If our residents are not happy dining in our communal dining room, they can dine in the privacy of their own room. We even have our gorgeous Chandelier room for any special occasions celebrated throughout our home. Our care home residents can sit down for a meal after taking part in activities throughout the home, or they may prefer to dine in bed. Whatever our residents need, we will make it happen for them. Recreation & Relaxation
Whether they’re looking to fill their days with a blend of activities or would prefer a more relaxed way of living, we have something for everybody to enjoy here at Jackman’s Lodge. If your loved one enjoys reading a good book in a relaxing environment or if they would prefer a social activity like playing board games with the other residents, we organise regular care home activities that are suitable for everyone. We believe all of our residents should continue to do the things that they love in our facilities and encourage them to maintain their passions. Our residents can benefit from activities like chair based yoga, quizzes and baking. On top of this, we organise regular trips outside of the home, throughout Woking. Style & Substance
Each of our rooms is luxuriously furnished, so residents are sure to be comfortable. We also encourage decorating rooms with your own belongings, whether those are photos, ornaments or furnishings. We want our residents to feel at home at Jackman’s Lodge, with convenient ensuite bedrooms. Our residents will be able to access help and support any time they need it within our warm welcoming environment. We are able to tailor care plans to our residents individually, ensuring that everybody in our home receives the specialist support that they need. Our rooms help each of our residents feel independent with their own privacy, but help is available any time they need it. With our homely environment and these small touches, we can help the transition into care home life much easier for residents.
