All fun and games this October!
we are doing our very best to keep everybody’s spirits high whilst continuing to provide the best possible care
Due to the serious effect the pandemic would have on our residents and staff should they become infected, we have decided to keep Jackman’s Lodge on lockdown until 6th November when we will review the situation again and communicate with you further.
On a positive note, we are doing our very best to keep everybody’s spirits high whilst continuing to provide the best possible care.
- All staff are tested weekly
- Residents are tested every 28 days
- We have arts & crafts, music & film afternoons, reminiscence activities in the mornings, cheese & wine every Friday, and weather permitting, walks in our lovely garden
- Residents who wish to are able to meet in the dining room for lunch and supper
- On the 30th October, the staff have organised a Halloween party to be held in the Chandelier lounge. In preparation for this, our residents have been busy decorating lanterns and making masks
- We are holding a virtual firework display on 5th November
- We are also preparing for the Christmas Festivities and are very excited about our plan! All will be revealed in due course…
