Wayne and Manuel have worked relentlessly to make sure that our new visiting suite would be ready. Room 9 was transformed this week to accommodate visitors safely. It was chosen because it is a garden room and therefore the access is not through our building. Families and friends are able to book a time and day with Nicola who said that we are already full next week! This is wonderful news and we are so pleased that families and friends can finally be reunited in a safe and comfortable place.

This is why Jackman’s Lodge is such a special place: it is everyone’s responsibility to offer support and comfort whilst respecting individual wishes

As a team we know that it has been difficult for residents and staff alike to be away from their loved ones. This is why Jackman’s Lodge is such a special place: it is everyone’s responsibility to offer support and comfort whilst respecting individual wishes. Families and friends managed to stay in touch via Zoom, FaceTime and the good old phone but resuming face to face visits is by far the best news of the week!

We can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the new visiting suite
